Don’t let your daughter near Dilshan

Cuz the man is in heat.

Nearly a 1000 runs. 5 hundreds. And oozing batting sexiness, Dilshan can probably knock your daughter up just by looking at them. At least in this year.

It’s pretty easy to get wrapped up in the god like status he is reaching because it has been that good. When you look back and try to analyze what exactly has changed for him its not that easy to pin point.

Just what was the switch that flipped on in his head or his game ?

Initially I thought it must be because of his promotion to the top of the order. But when you check the records it shows that he has batted at no5 for at least 3 of his 100s.

Which of course isn’t surprising as Dilshan is a versatile player. If you ask him to Bat at 10 and open the bowling he’d do it. With style.

The promotion to the top of the order in the pyjama version has clearly helped to some extent. The license to thrill that he gets in that format has rubbed off when he plays the red ball too.

What is good about the whole thing is that Dilshans got his success by staying true to his natural flair.

He’s never tried to be someone he is not.

He’s no Tendulkar or a Sehwag. But a cross between the two. Technically unsound but with a hand-eye coordination that he backs with unwavering adventurism.

When in full flow, his thoughts are singularly to attack.

When it pays off it gives you some weird carnal satisfaction.

But I wonder if want that guilty pleasure over something bigger. Today he got out trying to be himself, it was a ball he could have left but didn’t.

Its hard being torn apart like this.

How long can we be sucked into his charms before we realize we want a more stable relationship and not to be thrown aside when its just getting good.

He’s got that unpredictability in his shots now, and the skill to pull it off. The stats may be amazing now, but expect them to dial down a bit as teams figure him out.

Dilshan was with two pakistan girls when he was in Canada for the T20 series last year. The girls had spend the night with him and had seen with him at the Hilton hotel.

Yes i saw him with Indian girls in a photo ! But of course, the photo was taken when he was batting, but still i could see girls and women in the background.
Ok Now – Dont let your daughter near Dilshan – is that a globally accepted title – sounds like dilshan is a rapist ! Please – remove this column – it makes no sense really, just carries the wrong message !
DAMITS – please remember – some people just read the title and get carried away by thoughts – change the topic title ! also remember – Dilshan is happily married and living with his family.

Chavie> Yea a few runs in quick time really would have helped. But we cant really complain too much I guess

Risbah> He’s been playing cricket for more than a decade if I am not mistaken, he has been playing the same way from day 1. He hasnt done anything special or change anything in his game for him to figured out. He has just become better.

gura> Sorry, Zero interest in crickters personal lives, unless its funny.

Aston> It might not be globally acceptable but we are pretty happy with it. Took me a while to come up with it too. So cant really chuck it. I feel attached to it.

Sri Lankan cricketers are real cheats. They cheat in every possible way. Gambhir’s run out is the best example. The bowler checked which way the batsman was going and came in that way exactly.

I think God warned SL cricketers of their ways by having Pak terrorists shoot at them, but still these SL cheats never learn. Hope they realize.
