This summers real deal is Pakistan v Sri Lanka. Two teams that guarantee your moneys worth. Whether its Pakistan staging a miraculous 2020 World Cup win. Whether its Team buses being attacked. Whether its Angelo Matthews doing back flips while he heads the ball back into play, When Pakistan play Sri Lanka, there is something always happening.
Fours, Sixes, RPGs. That is what tickles my cricket bone these days.
For some reason Pakistan seems to have a severe dislike towards us. Sure Younus Khan will smile and crack jokes before 2020 WC Finals but when it gets to the thick of things, Pakistan seems to hate losing against us.
Something about Sri Lanka seems to bring out the best in Pakistan.
I am not usually adverse to Pakistan doing well, but its annoying when SL keep losing to them in important matches.
So do not be surprised if the first day ends with Pakistan being all out for 300 and SL finishing the day on 250-7. These two teams know how to entertain alright.
Sadly there wont be the usual threat of a bomb or two going off now that the Ltte have been sent packing. For so long a pivotal part in any tour to SL. An excuse teams like NZ and SA have used masterfully to escape a hiding.
So cmon, Younus/ King Sanga. Give us another treat will ya.

Will mendis be handled with ease? Will murali be subdued? Will Sanga get back to his bradmansque form?
Tell you what, the Pak-Lanka debates at Bored were far more even than the games.
How many runs and how many wickets fall would be the key to decide who wins. IMO the series would be 0-0 or a 1-1 draw.
Mendis wont be as effective he was last year. Murali would continue to fox Pakistanis and Yousuf would continue his failures.
For god sake lets have an even contest b.w bat and ball.
