-Australia keep winning it
-Its played to that awfully long 50 over stuff
-It takes forever
-No one can agree on one format
-Namibia plays in it
-Its never played in Australia
-Ireland are better at it than England, which is just too funny
-It killed Bob Woolmer
-That 2020 WC thingy.
-It keeps embarrassing the No1 ODI team in the world. (This is actually a good thing)
-It makes the Champions trophy look good
-It makes the 2020 WC thingy look better
You bloody shameless traitor!
What happened to boycott T20?
I’m gonna send a white van soon, son.
WC is relevant because ODI and test cricket are the formats which test players capabilities. These formats allow the players to use their brains rather than just coming and smashing all over the park. Longer version is not problem for cricket as sports like golf is also a longer version sport.
Sach> It was a question. Not an opinion.
Tharaka> We agree with you wholeheartedly. But the question is does the rest of the world and the people that matter.
It’s an opinionated question.
South Africa have never, ever lost a match that I have been to. Thus I have decided that I am going to start saving big time (I am only 19, university student, no job – does not augur well 😛 ) so that I can go to the World Cup in that big ass country called India abound with eyeballs. Hey, it’s worth a shot! But then again, the look on that guy from Durban’s face (who sold his car to finace his trip to the Carribbean) in THAT semi-final may convince me otherwise.
I think it’s just best the West Indies do not host another World Cup – it was a fiasco. That final, the ticket prices, the strict rules, the length of the tournament – wow…It sucked. Plus the Aussies won – that just compounded the horror.
