The return of Splendid Mendis

Some days you wake up and you know its going to go well.

Today is one of those days.

Flyslips own Splendid Mendis is set to return to the scene after bad things happened to him.

It’s what every kid, man, woman, methhead, hippie, housewife, mom and dad across the world have been waiting for – That and to see Australia finally beaten at home.

Except the Bangladeshi batsmen.

Celestial Choirs will sing.

Angels will descend from heaven.

People will dance into the night across the globe.

Barak Obama will talk about it on youtube.

The Almighty Holy Trinity is once again complete

This truly is the start of a wonderful year.

Oi, wtf is going on over there? Bangladesh started this match 5 days ago… Why haven’t SL whooped their candy asses yet? Don’t give me all that rest day BS, Bangladesh shouldn’t last more than 3 days, SL is just encouraging them to prolong their stay in Test cricket.
The return of Splendid is an excellent start, but where’s Malinga? If all else fails why not unleash the motivator Ranjit Fernando on them. Remember Bangladesh has played more tests this year than SL and Pak combined, we cannot allow them to play more days too!

A> Malinga is still injured, ankle knack. I think he might be fit for that Pak tour in Jan. Hopefully.

We let Bangladesh slip at times and they played better than us today and yesterday. Not good enough from us.

NC> Yes I am happy camper. Hopefully the 2nd test will finish within the 3 day quota allocated for Bangl and it would please Mahela quite a bit as he apparently wants a rest as the 5 tests and the 127 hour flight to Bangladesh is really wearing the team down this year.
