We are back in business

That’s right, we are back after our short holiday and what a good one it was.

Apart from the natural beauty around Kangaroo Valley, I ran into a top bloke who knew his cricket.

We spoke about Johnsons rise in the game, Gary Gilmour and Alan Davidson. He is one of those guys who didn’t like the team Ponting was leading before the mass retirements ‘cuz they played ugly’ he said.

Cant argue with that.

Bodyline eventually came up as Bowral,  the next town, was where Bradman grew up.  Apparently he wrote to Larwood who retired in Sydney and the man sent back his autograph.

As he put it ‘The man who felled Bradman was living in Australia and no one even knew about it!’
